Assistant Librarian – Greensboro Free Library (Greensboro, VT)

The Greensboro Free Library (GFL) seeks a part-time Assistant Librarian for our public library.  The Assistant Librarian will work in collaboration with the Library Director and Youth Services Librarian to provide excellent customer service and a welcoming community space.  Duties will include assisting patrons of all ages, managing volunteers, providing interlibrary loan services, processing and cataloging new materials, and maintaining displays and the collection.

We seek a friendly person who will advocate for the library and learning at all times, and can work independently, multi-task, and learn new skills as library services evolve.  A bachelor’s degree, strong computer skills, and evidence of interest in libraries are preferred.  The position is part-time, approximately 16 hours per week over three weekdays, with more hours/days during July and August.
