Whether you’re working on public library certification or want to broaden your library skills, we have workshops for you.
Each year we offer two of the four 5-day core workshops required for public library certification. This year we are teaching Basic Public Library Administration and Reference. Please note that unlike other workshops, attendance at the core workshops is not first come, first served. It is based on a set of priorities.
We are providing technology workshops including sessions on interlibrary loan, first aid for computers, creating videos, and technology trends with the always enthusiastic Linda Braun.
Youth services will be supported with Dig Into Reading (summer reading program), Picture Book Story Time , and the perennial favorite, Materials Review.
Other highlights of 2013 include workshops on grant writing, genealogy, makerspaces, and strategic planning.
There are several other workshops in the works. When they are finalized, I will send out notices to let you know.

Shortly after the workshop’s registration deadline, you will receive a confirmation from the workshop coordinator letting you know if you have been accepted, giving you directions to the site, and any special instructions.
