Abenaki artist Carol Billings Mcgranaghan will lead this free-form discussion centering on the identification, care, and use of wild edible plants, with plenty of time for questions on any related topics. There will be samples of Carol’s homemade wild flower jellies for tasting!

Booklets entitled “Vermont Abenakis: A Brief History of the People of the Dawnland, Vermont’s First Human Inhabitants” by Carol Irons will be available for $5 at the program. The booklet presents Vermont’s history from an Elder Abenaki’s perspective.
