NAHSL (North Atlantic Health Sciences Libraries, the New England chapter of the Medical Library Association) is holding its 2007 meeting, Building Bridges, in Woodstock, Vermont, October 28-30, 2007.
On tap are:
Three physicians and one technology-guru/librarian, variously discussing culturally competent medicine, social responsibility in medicine, research in alternative medicine, and social networking in libraries. Breakout sessions include a panel discussion on “magnet status” for hospitals, patient safety, and collaborative tools.
Quality filtering, supervisory skills, and health statistics are among the CE sessions we’re planning. Enjoy some late harvest days in the heart of Vermont, discussing professional interests and challenges with your friends and colleagues.
