ACRL-NEC VT Virtual Conference!

The ACRL New England Annual Conference is one again upon us and being held at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Can’t make it down to Worcester? Want to network with other Vermont librarians? Need a cost-effective professional development option?

Mark your calendar for the 3rd Annual ACRL-NEC Vermont Virtual Conference on Friday, May 18th!

When registering you will be asked to select your choices for one breakout session each in the morning and afternoon. Descriptions are available via the full conference schedule. Your choices will constitute a vote and help determine which breakouts will be streamed to the Virtual Conference. After completing the registration form, you have the option to pay online through Google Checkout or by check. Registration is $20, which covers registration costs, a morning snack and coffee, as well as lunch.

The Virtual Conference will once again be held at Norwich University in Northfield, VT. Join other VT librarians to attend and participate in the ACRL-NEC conference virtually. In addition to watching the regional conference streamed live you’ll be able to meet with other Vermont librarians and talk about topics related to the theme Leading the Change: Integrating the Library into the Future of Higher Education.

We will be streaming Steven J. Bell’s opening keynote and have two breakouts each for you to choose from in the morning and afternoon. Check out the conference website for an idea of the day’s possible content.

More details and Virtual Conference registration will be available in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for the announcement! Please contact me, Heidi Steiner, with any questions. Looking forward to another great VT Virtual Conference!!
