This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the Vermont’s independent day and boarding high schools.
The Associate Librarian is an entry-level library professional member of the library. The library team members strive to ensure a welcoming, inclusive, student-centered learning environment at the Grace Stuart Orcutt Library. Alongside the Library Director and Assistant Librarian, this position will assist in circulating materials at the circulation desk, creating library displays, contributing to reader’s advisory, and shelving books, among other tasks. The ideal candidate will promote a friendly and positive environment and enjoy working with students.
This position is a Monday-Friday position that will alternate between opening and closing the library. This is a fully benefited Academic Year position, with school breaks and summer recess off. An Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred. Prior experience within a high school or college library setting is a plus.
