JOB DESCRIPTION: Programming Librarian
Grade/Classification: Salaried/Exempt position.
STATUS: Full-Time (40 hours)
REPORTS TO: Library Director
SALARY: $42,000 – $44,000/year, depending on qualifications, full benefits, including health insurance, dental, and NH retirement system

We are seeking a new, full-time team member who likes to wear a lot of hats in providing great library services for all ages.
We pride ourselves on being a safe place for everyone in our community. We provide services and programs in a collaborative, team environment. While we still have some age-based programs and services, we love it when three generations of the same family can show up for a program that is flexible enough for everyone to participate.

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Library Director, the Programming Librarian is responsible for supporting a broad range of duties related to all aspects of library programs, in a collaborative team environment. This includes but is not limited to developing, planning, and implementing programs specifically for youth, teens, and adults, as well as inter-generational programming, in conjunction with other staff members and outside presenters. This position also supports circulation and reference services, and promotion of all library services and activities throughout the community.
