Library Assistant – Latham Memorial Library (Thetford, VT)

Latham Memorial Library is a small but thriving center of the Thetford community, located at the crossroads of three schools. Many changes are afoot for our library, including a recent move to a new catalog, joining 68 other Vermont libraries in the VOKAL consortium and 17 Upper Valley libraries in the OneCard borrowing system, and plans to launch a new website later this year. With all of this positive momentum, now is a wonderful time for someone new to join the friendly faces that welcome our patrons and visitors.

We are looking for a new team member to work a couple of days per week, helping patrons at our circulation desk.

If you love talking with people, particularly about books, movies and community events, and you are comfortable troubleshooting basic technology questions and researching information online, we’d love to hear from you. Organization, communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Previous experience working in a library is preferred.
