Champlain College Library is hiring for our Part-Time Access Services Coordinator Team. The Miller Information Commons is a multi-use facility that houses the library, Student Success Center, computer lab, maker space, study rooms, and classrooms, where Champlain students study, build, create, and get help, all under one roof. Our Access Services Coordinators keep it running and make it feel welcoming when students need it most: evenings and weekends.
Champlain College is hiring part-time Access Services Coordinators to supervise library circulation services in the Miller Information Commons. This role oversees facility operations, manages circulation systems, leads student employees, and carries out projects that keep the library running smoothly. This position is filled by 6–8 individuals concurrently, and flexibility with scheduling is required.
The ideal candidate brings strong customer service instincts, comfort with technology, and a genuine interest in mentoring student employees. They serve as a front-line resource for the Champlain community — answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the space is welcoming and well-managed.
