Our circulation desks are the most public face of the Library and central to our mission. Assistant Circulation Librarians at Kellogg-Hubbard Library perform daily duties of the circulation desks and encourage patron use of all Library facilities. Assistant Circulation Librarians must work well under pressure, performing multiple tasks efficiently. They are expected to handle all aspects of circulation desk procedures, usually in conjunction with another regular staff member.
This position is 17 hours per week and requires evening and weekend hours. The starting pay is $24.00 per hour. This position is part of the library’s collective bargaining unit.
