The Library at Saint Michael’s College invites applications for the Circulation Services Specialist – Weekend Supervisor position. The Circulation Services Specialist – Weekend Supervisor position is responsible for managing all library circulation operations during alternating weekend hours (generally every other Saturday 11:00 am – 6:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am – 4:00 pm) during the academic year.
In addition to the overall responsibility for the building’s operation during weekend hours, this position will oversee and train student staff to ensure circulation services are accurately performed. There are currently two open positions that will be filled for the beginning of the fall 2025 semester.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing support in the efficient use of library services to campus community
- Providing user support in all areas of the library, including circulation, information retrieval, and technology
- Training new student staff to ensure accurate circulation services are provided

Requirements:
Applicants must have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working in a library or bookstore is preferred, but not required
- Supervisory experience is preferred, but not required
