Dartmouth is hiring for a Library Collections Assistant position. Come and work with a collaborative, dynamic group of colleagues. As an integral part of the Libraries’ Collection Management & Preservation team, the Library Collections Assistant will carry out daily talks associated with the circulation and maintenance of the Libraries’ physical materials. This includes paging and reshelving books as well as participating in the ongoing care and maintenance of library stacks. Working under the supervision of the Library Collections Operations Manager, the Collections Assistant will also support discrete special projects as needed, such as large-scale collection moves. While this position is primarily based at Dartmouth’s Baker Berry Library, work will occasionally be performed at the Library Collections Services Facility (LCSF), a high-density storage facility in Lebanon, NH.
