Temporary Part-time Librarian – Bent Northrop Memorial Library (Fairfield, VT)

The Bent Northrop Memorial Library in Fairfield, Vermont is looking to fill a temporary part-time position. The position will be for 13 hours per week, will start in the beginning of October 2020, and will last for 11 weeks. Some training hours will also need to be completed in September.

Position Summary: The person in this position will be responsible for planning and implementing programs for all ages, assisting customers with circulation and reference needs, and completing other general library operations.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer services skills

  • Solid technical troubleshooting

  • Experience working with children

  • Ability to think creatively

  • Ability to work independently

  • Self-motivated

Technical Services/Circ Desk Librarian – Quechee/Wilder Libraries (Hartford, VT)

Quechee/Wilder Libraries seek applications for a versatile, detail-oriented staff member to work the circulation desk at our two sites.  This part-time position of 24 hours per week includes some evening and Saturday hours.  It requires providing technical support to patrons, familiarity with maintaining and using pcs, cataloging and working with Excel.  Strong back and flexibility needed; sense of humor appreciated.
