JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for managing the library in the absence of the director.
  • Catalogs all materials and maintains library’s OPAC and oversees materials for processing.
  • Oversees ILL service including streamlining the ILL procedures and training staff in those procedures.

The Richards Free Library is seeking an innovative, creative, tech savvy, and forward-thinking leader with proven management skills in a public library to serve as Library Director.

The Library employs 7 staff members including three full-time positions. The library enjoys wide community support.
