Facilities Management

  • Directs and oversees the care and maintenance of the Library building and grounds.
  • Regularly reviews building needs and advises the Board in planning for future maintenance.

Communication Skills

  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to foster and maintain positive public relations.
  • Creates and delivers effective presentations to staff, the Board, patrons, Town Council, and community organizations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program
  • Five years of progressively responsible supervisory experience
  • Proven library leadership and management experience

Salary range: $70,000-$80,000

Located on scenic Casco Bay, Falmouth, Maine is a coastal community with approximately 11,000 residents. Falmouth Memorial Library originally opened in 1952 to honor its veterans. The Library currently serves a vibrant community and is completing an expansion and renovation project. The renovated Library will have approximately 17,000 sq. feet and plans to re-open in the spring of 2020.

Director – Windsor Public Library (Windsor, VT)

The Windsor Public Library Board of Trustees is seeking an experienced, collaborative, innovative, dedicated leader to serve as Library Director. The Windsor Public Library sits in the heart of Windsor – the birthplace of Vermont – on a bend in the Connecticut River in south-central Vermont.
