Front Porch Forum (FPF) was created in 2006 in Burlington and now more than 21,000 households subscribe across 50 Vermont towns. Now, thanks to the e-Vermont initiative, FPF’s reach is greatly expanded to more parts of the state.

Hi! I am collecting books from all around Vermont for the First Annual Great NaNoWriMo Book Drive, a fundraiser for the Office of Letters & Light. OLL provides the national support for National Novel Writing Month, ScriptFrenzy, and the Young Writer’s Program. All of these are programs that support creativity, perseverance, and a fresh relationship to writing and literature.

Library Journal has announced its annual public library budget survey – and now more than ever, it’s important to have an overall picture of what’s happening with budget trends in public libraries across the country. It is also important that Vermont libraries be included in the survey results. Library Journal will publish the results of this survey in the January 2011 issue.
