Department: Brooks Memorial Library

Nature of work:  Establishes welcoming first impression of the Library through management of the circulation functions, ensuring effective and efficient library operations and service. Duties involve managing and overseeing all aspects of library circulation, scheduling, training, and supervising clerks and volunteers. Assists with reference and reader’s advisory services for patrons. Serves on the website team and takes an active role in promotion of library services and programs. Participates in the supervisor team with librarians and Library Director.  Promotes and supports cooperation and collaboration among library departments and among community partners.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday including Saturdays in schedule rotation and 1 evening per week for 37.5 hours per week.

Wage and Employee Type: $20.22 per hour, non-exempt employee; this is position is affiliated with Local 98 Union after successful completion of probationary period.
